“Pilates is complete coordination of body, mind & spirit” - Joseph Pilates
Pilates
Pilates is a form of exercise that focuses on developing balance, coordination, flexibility and whole body strength, with a concentration on the abdominals, lower back, glutes and pelvic floor. Pilates involves activating your deeper abdominal muscles and making controlled yet flowing movements, while applying conscious breathing techniques. It can be incredibly effective in rehabilitation, especially for those with lower back and pelvic pain, as well as aiding sports performance.
